Antibiotic resistance will not stop. More than 2.8 million antibiotic-resistant infections occur in the United States each year, and more than 35,000 people die as a result. Across the world, at least 1.27 million people died from antibiotic resistance in 2019. We must meet this challenge with ongoing action and vigilance—we look forward to continuing this work with you.
